On September 1, 2026, The First Affiliated Hospital of University of South China used HC-IORT to successfully complete Hunan’s first intraoperative radiotherapy procedure for oropharyngeal cancer.

Treatment field diameter: 30 mm; prescribed dose: 10 Gy; energy: 6 MeV; tissue bolus: 10 mm; beam-on time: 3.03 minutes.
