On June 1, The First Affiliated Hospital of University of South China used HC-IORT during a single retroperitoneal tumor operation to successfully complete Hunan’s first IORT treatment involving two lesions and two treatment fields.

Left abdominal lesion 1 — prescribed dose: 12 Gy; energy: 9 MeV; field diameter: 60 mm; bolus thickness: 1 cm; beam-on time: 2.93 minutes.

Left abdominal lesion 2 — prescribed dose: 10 Gy; energy: 6 MeV; field diameter: 60 mm; bolus thickness: 1 cm; beam-on time: 2.31 minutes.
